1. difficulty. japanese and korean are both extremely time consuming and challenging languages to learn from an english speaker's perspective. they both have similar grammar structure that is effectively opposite that of english's.. I can attest as well that while initially attempting to learn an east asian language is daunting and sometimes overwhelming and seemingly impossible, it can become nearly natural after years of practice, perseverance, and grit-hard work.. I'm learning korean now but i want to learn both korean and japanese. i know that the two are similar when it comes to grammar, so anyone who speaks either language would find it easy to learn the other. because of that i was wondering if learning the two languages at the same time would be okay..
